Since 1961: from local beginnings to customers across Europe
Our story begins in Zwijndrecht in 1961, when brothers Jan and Ben Zoutewelle started a wholesale business selling Dutch produce. Their first deliveries outside the region went to Zeeland and Limburg. Today, more than sixty years on, we’re still a family business, supplying customers throughout Europe.

o offer you the best possible produce, we work directly with our growers. So there are no unnecessary links in the chain. Our relationships with growers are central to the way we work. We speak with them every day and regularly visit them in the fields. That mutual trust means we know how our produce is grown and can work together to get the quality just right.
Quality starts here
With our own logistics centre in Ridderkerk, we keep everything in our own hands. A temperature-controlled loading area and 14 cold-storage rooms allow us to store and handle a wide variety of products under exactly the right conditions. It also means we can switch quickly and easily between contract programme orders, exports and customised mixed pallets. And because we manage the process ourselves, we can make sure quality is maintained every step of the way.
